AGROBALANCE Standard package
AgroBalance is a comprehensive agronomic service through which farmers receive detailed, plot-level information about the quantity of available nutrient reserves in the soil. In addition to professional soil sampling and analysis, the service includes personalized recommendations on where and how much fertilizer to apply to achieve optimal plant nutrition results and reach the desired yield. The AgroBalance service ensures complete traceability, from field sampling to the final results and recommendations.
AgroBalance Standard is available in two versions – for a 1-year period and for a 4-year period.

1. Automatic sampling according to the ISO standard
- Sampling according to the ISO standard (0-30 cm) using special sampling equipment and an automatic probe.
- Determination of the general agrochemical background (nutrient reserves) in the farm's plots.
- The size of the sampling areas is determined in accordance with the Romanian national standard.
- Each user has access to information regarding: the exact route of the sampling equipment; the location of the areas from which soil samples are taken, within the boundaries of each individual plot.
2. Soil analysis
Analysis performed in the specialized NIK Agro Service laboratory, accredited according to the BDS standard, for the following parameters:
- soil reaction (pH)
- nutrients (total mineral nitrogen – ammoniacal nitrogen N-NH4 and nitrate nitrogen N-NO3), available phosphorus (P2O5), exchangeable potassium (K₂O), available forms of calcium (CaO), magnesium (MgO), sulfur (S), sodium (Na₂O), iron (Fe), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), and boron (B).

3. Agrochemical analysis and fertilization recommendations
- Digital agrochemical maps
Development of digital agrochemical maps with information on the distribution of the following parameters: soil reaction (pH), nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. - Fertilization recommendations
The NIK Agro Service agronomy team develops an individual balanced fertilization plan for each plot and specific crop.
4. Control sampling during the vegetation period
- One plant sample and one corresponding soil sample are taken from each plot.
- Analysis of control samples to determine the content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, sodium, iron, copper, zinc, manganese, and boron.
- The agronomy team monitors crop status and prepares a document with comments on the results obtained and recommendations for further actions.

5. Control soil sampling after harvest – 20% of the initial number of samples.
Based on the results obtained, NIK Agro Service agronomists develop fertilization recommendations for the next agricultural year.
